Mount Evans reaches a height of 14,130 ft (4,300 m) and allows visitors to explore it in a variety of ways. America's highest scenic byway leads up the mountainside, leading from Idaho Springs to Echo Lake on Route 103 and then continuing on State Highway 5 into the mountains. Numerous hiking trails can be frequented, leading to a range of scenic views.

Pikes Peak is a must-see attraction, as it forms a focal point for the Colorado Springs area. It is hailed as America's Mountain with good reason.
