Alma Cemetery
Originally called the Buckskin Joe cemetery after the local mine, the Alma Cemetery is home to many of the residents that died of small pox during the late 1800s. One famed resident, a beautiful dancer who entertained the camp called Silver Heels, is said to haunt the cemetery. The residents have restored some of the grave stones and maintain the historic cemetery.
